Come Take a Walk to the Park with Annie

Having a dog means walking, or at least, it should mean that. I’m so fortunate that I live within “spittin’ distance” from what I think is one of the nicest parks anywhere, Memorial Park in Houston. Annie and I are out the door, and within five minutes we can be to the edge of the park. For the both of us, there always seems to be something new to see, or in her case, to sniff. This evening she got to sniff, and I snapped some photos.

Here are some of the highlights of our walk this evening.

  1. I agree your park looks like one of the nicest. Annie looks wonderful too! I have a canine friend named Ginger, and we walk together — one of life’s pleasures.

  2. It gives you a chance to notice so many things that you’d otherwise miss.

I needed to change the preposition in the title because several of the pictures were taken on the way to the park–just one long block if you walk on one side of the street and three short blocks if you walk on the other side.
